Some weddings are beautiful.
Some weddings are emotional.
And some weddings feel deeply ordained — where every part of the story seems woven together long before the couple ever met.
Tom and Demi’s wedding was exactly that.
From a dating app radius set at just the right distance… to prayers answered in unexpected ways… to a proposal guided by faith, their entire relationship is a testimony to timing, trust, and God’s plan.
Tom and Demi first met on Hinge a few years ago.
At the time, Tom’s search radius was set within 50 miles — and Demi appeared in his results at 48 miles away. Just two miles further, and their paths may never have crossed.
But as they shared throughout their wedding weekend, they truly believe God had been guiding their story long before they met.
Tom spoke about coming to faith during one of the most difficult seasons of his life, hearing God audibly speak to him at his lowest point and realising there was a greater purpose for his future.
And from there, everything slowly began falling into place.
Even Demi’s engagement ring carried its own incredible story.
Tom originally chose a different ring, but after an unexpected supplier issue, that ring became unavailable. He was then offered an alternative — a more beautiful ring that, unknown to him at the time, Demi had previously seen in a dream and described before ever laying eyes on it in person.
Moments like these became a recurring theme throughout their relationship.
Little reminders that they were exactly where they were meant to be.
While attending a Christian retreat weekend together, Tom had been praying about the right time to propose.
During the weekend, he was paired with a mentor he had never met before — a writer who had brought copies of his books to give away. One book in particular, about knowing the right time to marry, had been placed aside after the mentor felt God telling him to hold onto it until He revealed who it was for.
That person turned out to be Tom.
Shortly afterwards, Tom proposed during the very same weekend.
The legal ceremony in Doncaster almost didn’t happen quite as planned.
With a major accident causing severe traffic delays, Tom, Demi, and much of the wedding party found themselves stuck on the motorway while family waited anxiously at the registry office.
Originally due to marry at 2pm, they finally arrived at 3:43pm.
But thankfully, the registrar had been able to stay, and with no further weddings booked that afternoon, everything still went ahead.
Ten minutes later — rings exchanged, vows spoken, and first kiss shared — Tom and Demi were officially married.
A stressful start perhaps, but one that somehow still felt protected and guided.

The following day at Oulton Hall Hotel was where Tom and Demi truly celebrated their marriage surrounded by family, friends, and faith.
The morning began with excitement filling the bridal suite.
Hair and makeup stations buzzed with conversation while dresses were steamed and final details carefully prepared. Demi’s family had travelled from the Philippines to celebrate with them, making the morning even more special.
Meanwhile, Tom spent the morning with his Best Man Milo — calmly navigating the challenge of tying a bowtie together before receiving one of the most emotional gifts of the day.
A handwritten letter from Demi addressed “To My Future Husband.”
Alongside it was a beautifully inscribed family Bible — a gift that perfectly reflected the life and faith they are building together.
Later, Demi received her own gifts from Tom:
* a book filled with “30 Things I Love About You”
* a long-awaited book she had wanted for years
* and finally, the keys to their new home together
There were tears, laughter, hugs, and so many beautifully emotional moments throughout the morning.

One of the most moving parts of the day came just before the ceremony.
Without seeing each other, Tom and Demi stood back-to-back holding hands and praying together quietly about the life ahead of them.
Praying for guidance.
For strength.
For faith through both joyful seasons and difficult ones.
It was intimate, intentional, and incredibly special to witness.

As guests took their seats, Tom waited at the front of the aisle, emotional anticipation written all over his face.
And then the doors opened.
Demi walked in smiling, surrounded by the people who love her most, while Tom fought back tears as he saw his bride for the first time.
Their ceremony was deeply centred around worship, prayer, scripture, and faith — filled with meaningful traditions, heartfelt vows, praise, and the support of every guest present.
From the unity candle to family blessings, every part of the ceremony reflected the foundation they are building their marriage upon.

Just as the ceremony ended, the rain arrived.
Rather than let it dampen the atmosphere, everyone embraced it wholeheartedly.
Confetti flew beneath the covered aisle as guests cheered and celebrated the newlyweds before gathering together outside for group photographs under the shelter of the front entrance.
And then came one of our favourite moments of the entire day.
With the rain easing into a soft mist, Tom and Demi made the decision to head outside anyway for portraits together.
Wrapped up in each other, completely present, and laughing through the drizzle, they created some incredibly romantic moments that felt honest, cinematic, and beautifully reflective of the day itself.
Proof that sometimes the imperfect weather creates the most perfect memories.

The evening unfolded with heartfelt speeches, worship, prayer, singing, laughter, and so much love surrounding Tom and Demi.
Their first dance included beautiful moments shared with Demi’s brother, her father, and finally Tom himself as they danced together to Miracle by Riley Clemmons.
Friends and family shared stories, memories, and blessings for the couple’s future while everyone settled into a relaxed evening celebrating the beginning of married life together.
